Deputy Chairman of State Duma of the RF Artur Chilingarov sent greeting to the chairman of the International association "Northern Forum", Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko in connection with holding of the VIII General Assembly of association in Khanty-Mansiysk.

In his telegram Artur Chilingarov mentioned that work of the forum gives a good opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience, solving common problems, to realize joint projects of the northern regions development.

On October 3-5 official delegation of St.Petersburg, headed by St.Petersburg Governor V.I.Matvienko will visit Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra.

Basic objective of the visit is to develop cooperation in the frameworks of Agreement between the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra and St.Petersburg on trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.

Visit program comprises a meeting of two governors during which it is plan to discuss execution of joint actions plan on realization of Agreement, to visit Yugorsky Scientific and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Executive direction of Generations Fund.

On October 5, V.I. Matvienko will take part in festive opening of the 30th anniversary celebration of the JSC "Surgutneftegas" in Surgut.

On October 4 2006 during the working visit of official delegation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra to the town of St.Petersburg the governors of two regions signed Agreement on trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. To realize Agreement plan of joint actions for 2006-2011 has been developed.

Today deputy Chairman of the Government on issues of education, science and external relations Aleksei Maiorov and director of Education and Science Department Alla Gribtsova met with journalists in the press center of Yuga Government.

They told about the process of new system of labour remuneration in the educational institutions, improving of work quality of all system, regarding content of the educational process and economy.

Measures complex of social and economic reforms in this sphere comprises the law currently in force of the Autonomous Okrug on public and state management in the sphere of general education and new system of labour remuneration, stimulating the work quality of the teacher and the whole educational process as well.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Since October 1, 2007, the size of monthly monetary payment for regional privileges receivers has increased.

Department of labour and social protection of the population of the Autonomous Okrug informed about it.

In September of the current year law "On labour pensions in the Russian Federation" according to which the size of the basis part of labour older age pension has been increased by 147.28 rubles and amounted to 1260 rubles since October 1, came into force. In connection with it size of monthly monetary payments, stipulated by the Okrug law "On measures of social support of some categories of citizens in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug" amounted to 727 rubles for rear workers since October 1, 396 rubles for rehabilitated persons and citizens, defined as suffered from political repressions, 563 rubles for labour veterans and citizens related to them on December 31, 2007, 536 rubles for labour veterans of the Autonomous Okrug.

On International Tourism Day festive ceremony of Yury Senkevich’s National tourist premium awarding was held in Moscow.

Annually Tourism, Committee and tourism enterprises of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonmous Okrug take part in this event.

This year Okrug TV and radio company "Yugra" has got a diploma in the nomination "Best TV item about tourism in Russia". Journalist of TV company Viktor Zhuravlyev represented the project "Cards from Russia" and one of the issues of the program "Finno-Ugrian world".
