The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today meeting of guardians' board of the project "Ural promyshlenny - Ural Polyarny" headed by Plenipotentiary representative of the RF President of the UrFD Petr Latyshev was held in Moscow.

During the meeting at which Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko took part as well, issues of mega project realization and its qualitative characteristics for presentation at the the governmental commission for investments, were discussed.

Today Governor of the Autonomous Okrug met with the first deputy president of Paralympic Committee of Russia as well. Meeting was held on initiative of Pavel Rozhkov who expressed sincere gratitude to the Governor, Government of Yugra for qualitative training of sportsmen, who worthy represented the Autonomous Okrug at the competitions of the highest level, for work on formation of strong sport base, providing good opportunities for trainings.

Besides, issues of holding of World Ski Racing and Biathlon Championship among sportsmen of this category in 2009 in Khanty-Mansiysk, were discussed. Alexander Filipenko was invited by Pavel Ryzhkov to the meeting on December 4 in Moscow, where large delegation of international Paralympic Committee and during which a final decision about holding of World Championship - 2009 will be made.

In the evening representatives of Yugra in the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation plan to discuss topics, concerning social and economic situation in the Autonomous Okrug and issues of economic situation before elections of deputies of the State Duma of the RF.

Alexander Filipenko plan to take part in this meeting.

Today Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko met with chief editor of "Economicheskaya gazeta" Yury Naumov.

During one hour and a half interview for preparation of regional issue of newspaper "Yugra: strategy of economic development" basic direction of activity of bodies of executive power of the Autonomous Okrug  for middle-term and long-term prospect are described.

Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko take part in the VIII meeting of All-Russian political party "Edunaya Rossia" which is held on October 1-2 in Moscow.

Members of Federation Council, deputies of State Duma of the RF, heads of Russian regions, representatives of federal authority bodies, foreign political parties take part in the work of the meeting.

Agenda of the meeting is to observe issues, concerning federal list of deputy candidates of State Duma of Russia of the V convocation, appointment of procurators of "Edinaya Rossia" and extra elections to the central bodies of party.

Besides, program which will be a basis of electioneering campaign of "Edinaya Rossia" will be represented to the participants of the meeting. Boris Gryslov, chairman of All-Russian political party, will represent it.

Issues of digital broadcast were discussed by Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko and president of National association of TV and radio broadcasters Eduard Sagalaev and head of Rosscyazokhrankultura Boris Boyarskov during working meeting.

It was mentioned that practical work on realization of the project is restrained by absence of legislative and normative basis on the federal level. The III International digital broadcast conference "Digital Russia: yesterday, today, tomorrow" in Khanty-Mansiysk is devoted to discussion of all complex of problem in this sphere.

Today the III International digital broadcast conference "Digital Russia: yesterday, today, tomorrow", organized by National association of TV and radio broadcasters and Yugra Government, started its work in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Opening the conference president Eduard Sagalaev stressed a significant role of heads of the Autonomous Okrug and personally Governor Alexander Filipenko in its organization. Okrug TV and Radio company "Yugra" was the first which has got a license to broadcast digitally, therefore Khanty-Mansiysk together with Mordovia Republic are All-Russian sites where digital technologies are tested in mass communication.

Yugra athletes successfully took part in Fitness and Body-building Championship of the Ural Federal district which was held in Nizhny Tagil.

Four best sportsmen of Okrug team, under command of sport master Oksana Solonar, participating in the competitions, have got three medals. Leader of the team, sport master Radmil Aliev has become a silver prize winner in the category "Bodyfitness - women". Yekaterina Parashchevina distinguished herself as the same category, getting the bronze medal.

President of the Okrug Federation of fitness and athletics, deputy Chairman of the Government on issues of investments and innovations Kirill Morozov sent his gteeting to Yugra sportsmen. Hew expressed his certainty that our team will worthy represent the Autonomous Okrug at the Championship of Russia which is held in Bryansk on October 11-15.
