Governor's hot line continues to work in Ugra.

On November 16-23, 425 calls were registered by specialists.

The largest number of calls were made by Nizhnevartovsky, Khanty-Mansiysky, Oktyabrsky and Kondinsky Districts people. According to specialists, problems concerning "Labour veteran of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug" title receiving, appointment and payment of Governor's extra pension, housing conditions improvement, including subventions granting to purchase housing, improvement of populated localities (asphalt roads, street lighting, improvement of territories near the house) are the most urgent for Ugra people.

Alexander Filipenko presented the best businessmen of the Autonomous Okrug with Letters of thanks.

Awarding ceremony was held in the frameworks of the II congress of Ugra businessmen which was finished on November 22 in Khanty-Mansiysk.

10 heads of enterprises and individual fuses of Ugra were awarded with Governor's letters of thanks as one of the forms of moral stimulation.

Among them are the businessmen as follows: Vadim Bykov (JSC "Nefteyuganskpromservis"); Igor Verba (Company "Berg", Nyagan); Nikolai Komissarov (JSC "Arsenal", Beloyarsky); Vil Mustafin (IF, Urai), Antonina Chuprina (JSC "Geolog, Surgut); Alexander Krekhovetsky (JSC "Alian", Beryezovo) and Aleksei Zobnin (JSC "Sovblokkomplekt", Sovetsky).

Governor wished the best businessmen further efficient work, directed to improve the quality of rendered services and development of one of the sectors of economy which is priority for the Okrug.

On November 25, Mother's Day is celebrated by Order of the Russian President, dated January 30, 1998.

State Duma Committee on issues of women, family and youth is the initiator of holiday foundation. Holiday has a international status. There are national Mother's Days in many world countries. Last Sunday of November state bodies of social protection hold festive events at which they arrange a celebration in honor of mothers with many children, mothers with handicapped children who have sate wardship.

In 2002-2007 57 mothers were awarded the medal of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug "Materinskaya slava", 29 mothers received Governor's Letters of thanks. During these years over 100 mothers, living in Ugra, have received Governor's letters of award, Letters of Thanks of the Chairman of Autonomous Okrug Duma.

Student festival "Go in for sports in YSU" opened Family Sport Days.

For information, by Governor's order the days of November 23, 24 are announced as Family Sport Days. Student sports festival in the frameworks of which teams of Nizhnevartovsky, Surgutsky, Yugorsky universities and Surgutsky teachers' training university will compete in mini football, was opened in new sports complex of YSU.

Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko, Russian sport stars Aleksei Voevoda, Marina Kuptsova, Irina Sumnikova, Alexander Tikhonov, Elena Vyalbe, chief editor of TV channel "Sport" Vasily Kiknadze are among the honorary guests of the festival "Go in for sports in YSU".
