The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today Governor, Chairman of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra Alexander Filipenko and president of the JSC "Neftegazovaya kompania "Rosneft" Sergei Bogdanchikov signed an Agreement on cooperation for 2008.

Commenting this event Alexander Filipenko expressed his gratitude to the head of the company for constructive cooperation and social partnership.

He said that in 2008 "Rosneft" will appropriate 630 million rubles for social basis development of the Autonomous Okrug. Program of the company covers construction of the defined educational, cultural and sport, housing and communal objects in Khanty-Mansiysky, Nefteyugansky and Surgutsky districts, towns of Nefteyugansk and Pyt-Yakh, participation in cultural and physical and sport event of the Autonomous Okrug. Company has incurred obligations of Ugra budget, and concerning increase of scopes of prospecting and trade works, ecological safety provision.

Sergei Bogdanchikov said that Ugra is the main region-partner of company administration. For last three year oil produced by "Rosneft" increased by 10 million tons, laying the foundation to double this growth by 2012 and to reach annual growth in the amount of 75 million tons. According to him it will make Ugra image more attractive and give extra incomes to its budget. "Rosneft" president expressed his assessment which is, according to him, identical with assessments of the heads of other oil companies, operating in the region.

All-Russian festival - marathon "Pesni Rossii" (Songs of Russia) will be held in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra.

Federal agency of culture and cinematography of the RF and Ugra Government are the founders.

According to the organizers this event is aimed to keep cultural heritage of folk songs genre masters, mutual enrichment and development of national cultures of Russian peoples. Besides, creative marathon will allow to widen cooperation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug with different regions of the country.

Festival will start its procession over Ugra on November 25 in the settlement of Fyedorovsky, then it will come to Surgut, Yugorsk, Nyagan and will be finished on November 30 in Khanty-Mansiysk.

No less than 4 groups and performers must bring filled form of the participant, booklets, posters, audio and video materials about their creative activity and 3-4 concert items, dressed in scene suits, in every category where the marathon will be held.

The best creative group of the Autonomous Okrug will be invited to participate in gala concert of the Festival "Pesni Rossii" which will be held in the Kremlin Congress Palace on December 11, of the current year.

Ugra athlete will participate in World Bodybuilding, Fitness and Bodyfitness Junior and Master Championship which will be held in Budapest on November 30 - December 3, 2007.

Young Radmila Alieva from Langepas will come to Championship in Russian bodybuilding team. Only 9 best Russian athletes are in the structure of national team. For information Radmila has received the invitation to World championship owing to successful participation at the Championship of Russia in Bryansk where she won silver medal.

Deputy Chairman of the Government on issues of investments and innovations, president of Ugra Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation Kirill Morozov said that Radmila Alieva will be the first Ugra athlete who represents the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug at the prestigious championship. Kirill Morozov said in addition that Federation renders financial assistance to the athlete and her coach which is necessary for training and preparation for World Champioship.

Governor, chairman of the Trustee Council of the Generations Fund of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra Alexander Filipenko has signed a decision about payment of lump-sum welfare to retired pensioners, having 25-years and more working experience in the Okrug.

Over 40 000 people in the age of 55 years by December 2007 will be annual welfare receivers who receive payments from the Generations fund.

Program of welfare granting to retired pensioners of the Autonomous Okrug has been carried out by Generations Fund of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug since 2000 according the the order of the Governor of the Autonomous Okrug "On payments of annual lump-sum welfare of the Generation Fund to the labour veterans of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug" dated March 2000.
