The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Issues of lawmaking on the problems of social and
economic development of indigenous small-in-number peoples of the Far
North, preparation to holding of World Congress of Finno-Ugrian peoples
in Khanty-Mansiysk were discussed yesterday in Moscow by Ugra Governor
Alexander Filipenko and chairman of the Committee on issues of
North and small-in-number peoples of Federation Council, Regional
coordinator of International Association "Northern Forum" Gennady
Oleinik.

Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko was interviewed
in Moscow by request of Information agency "RosBusinessConsulting" about
social and economic development of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug,
investment potential, social policy of state authority bodies,
realization of agreements on social partnership with oil and gas
companies, operating on the territory of the Autonomous Okrug.
Within the next few days it will be published at the
official site of Agency.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Order of size fixing and collection of parents and
official representatives' payments for pupils, being supported in state
general educational boarding schools is defined in Ugra.
Innovation will come into force since January 1,
2008.
Parents official representatives' payment is not
collected for supporting of children from families with average total
revenue which is lower minimal living wage, orphans and children without
parents' care, educated in children's' homes.

Interdepartmental commission on realization of the
Okrug program "Assistance of voluntary migration of nationals, living
abroad to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug" for 2007-2012 is founded
in Ugra.
This program was adopted at the meeting of Ugra Duma
in April 2007. In the results of its realization increasing of migration
growth of the Autonomous Okrug population by means of 1084 nationals
arrival, living abroad who will permanently live in Ugra, attraction of
271 specialists of high qualification to the institution of healthcare
and education, improving of services quality in social sphere, are
expected.
Deputy Chairman of the Government on issues of social
policy Natalia Zapadnova heads new interdepartmental coordinating body.

Yesterday in Moscow Governor, Chairman of the
Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko
held a working meeting with the member of Federation Council Viktor
Pichugov.
Senator informed the head of the region about
lawmaking activity and his work in the Natural Resources and Environment
Protection Committee.

Issues, concerning preparation to elections in
December were discussed yesterday by Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko
and deputy of State Duma of the RF Leonid Simanovsky.
According to interlocutors, the present electoral
campaign demonstrates growth of activity on the territory of the
Autonomous Okrug and political parties and constituency.
Alexander Filipenko heads regional list of
All-Russian political party "Edinaya Rossia", Leonid Simanovsky is among
top 3 leaders.

Deputy Governor, head of the Representative Office
of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of the Government of the Russian
Federation Vladimir Khariton and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
ambassador of Moldova Republic in the RF Vladimir Zurkan discussed an
opportunity to make direct commercial relations of Ugra with regions of
Moldova was discussed during working meeting.
According to the ambassador, administration of
Republic is interested in production "promotion" of Moldavian
enterprises at Russian market, and Ugra provokes interest in this
sphere.

Association of children and youth unions of Ugra
has received RF President's Grant.
Association's program "School for training of
instructors for youth and children's work "Impuls Ugry" participated in
the contest to get Grants of the state head which was held in accordance
with RF President's order. Non-commercial non-governmental organization
from 36 regions of Russia represented 558 projects in the sphere of
youth initiatives support. Okrug Association program was reckoned
by expert council as the best and was granted the premium in the sum of
129 852 rubles.

Today meeting of the heads of property management
and land resources bodies of the municipal districts and urban areas of
the Autonomous Okrug is held in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Its participants discuss issues of property
delimiting on levels of property, new regulations of Budgetary code,
problems of land resources management, exchange experience of legal
regulation of activity of independent institutions and auctions holding
on development of built-up territories in the frameworks of the priority
national project "Available housing".

awarded state awards of the Russian Federation.
Olympic ski races champion Evgeny Dementjev was
awarded the Honor Order for services in physical culture and sport
development and long-term conscientious work; silver prize winner of the
XX winter Olympic games, biathlon athlete Nikolai Kruglov - Friendship
Order; chief coach-teacher of the Okrug "School of higher skill - 2"
Valery Zakharov - medal of the Order "For services to the Motherland" of
the I rank; senior coach-teacher of the Okrug "School of higher skill -
2" Valery Ukhov - medal of the Order "For services to the Motherland" of
the II rank.
Order about awarding has been signed by Russian
President Vladimir Putin.
