On November 20-26, in Russian centers of science and culture in Cairo, Alexandria and Port-Said presentation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra will be held.

Ugra people in the delegation of Publishing Council of Orthodox church and Orthodox charitable fund "Peresvet" will visit Egypt. Program of events is prepared with support of foreign affairs ministry, ministry of economic development, Federal agency on printing and mass communication of the RF, administration of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra and "LUKoil" company.

Aim of the visit is to develop and realize long-term cultural enlightening and research programs, develop of relations with countrymen, relations between Russian Orthodox Church and Alexandrian Patriarchy. In the frameworks of the year of Russian language "round tables" on development of trade and economic, cultural cooperation between Russian and Egypt will be held.

Foreign affairs minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov confirmed that Summit "Russia - Euro Union" will be held in the capital of Ugra - Khanty-Mansiysk.

At the press-conference on results of negotiations with Slovenian colleague he said that we invite our partners for EU to a beautiful Siberian town Khanty-Mansiysk. Dates will be defined in the nearest future.

It should be mentioned that active preparation for holding of a scale international event is making in the Government of Ugra.

Today in Moscow Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko is participating in the meeting of governmental commission under the chairmanship of minister of regional development Dmitry Kozak, at which the projects of social and economic development "Ural promyshlenny - Ural Polyarny" will be observed.

For information, mega project has been developed by order of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and it provides a complex development of natural riches of eastern mountainside of Pre-Polar and Polar Urals. Construction documents have been observed and completely approved by commission of Investment fund of Russia. On the first stage 6.5 billion rubles were allocated for finishing development and all required expert conclusions. By specialists' reckoning, total sum of state investments to realization of this project will exceed 100 billion rubles.

After meeting of the governmental commission Alexander Filipenko plans to take part in the meeting of Trustee council of Corporation "Ural promyshlenny - Ural Polyarny". It will be held by Plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the Ural Federal district Petr Latyshev.

Member of Petrovskaya academy of sciences and arts, Academy of social technologies, member of Journalists Union, member of Writers union of Russia, deserved employee of Russian culture, deserved employee of science of the Autonomous Okrug, master of local lore study Novomir Patrikeev received a special prize for a significant contribution to development of Ugra journalism.

Awarding ceremony was held on November 14 in the frameworks of the III Okrug forum "Information world of Ugra".
