The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On November 12-16, XI Okrug scientific and practical conference "Ways of oil, gas and ore potential" will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Governor, Chairman of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra Alexander Filipenko has signed order about it.

By information of Okrug Department of oil, gas and mineral resources, scientific and practical conference attracts attention of a large number of participants from year to year. For 10 years 3055 people have reported there. On results of the conference 904 works have been published.

This year, according to organizers, nearly 400 scientists-researchers, workers of Russian and foreign oil companies will take part this year. On November 13 the conference will be opened by plenary meeting. On the other days work of 4 sections at which regional peculiarities of geological structure, resources basis and prospects of oil and gas bearing; deposits geology, methods and results of geological, geophysical and petrophysical objectives; ore potential of Pre-Polar Ural, problems of oil deposits development will be discussed. It is planned to listen ti approximately 200 reports. Resulting is planned on November 15.
