President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated
Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko on International Unity Day.
In the address it was said that the day of November
4th is becoming a symbol of Russian national traditions
continuity, permanent significance of freedom, patriotism and charity
values. We are united by pride of our country, its glorious history and
and fulfillments of many generations of our ancestor. Being united we
have always succeed, being in cooperation we will make Russia strong and
prosperous state.
On the eve of the holiday the head of the region have
received congratulations from the Chairman of the RF Government Viktor
Zubkov, first deputies of the Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry
Medvedev, Sergei Ivanov, deputy Chairman of the RF Government Alexander
Zhukov, Chairman of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Boris
Gryzlov, head of RF President's Administration Sergei Sobynin, Chairman
of Central election committee Vladimir Churov, plenipotentiary
Representative of the President in the UrFD Petr Latyshev, Chairman of
the State Duma Committee on energy, transport and communication Valery
Yazev and others.

Thanks letter of Executive secretary of Russian
Federation Commission on issues of UNESCO Georgy Ordzhonikidze was
received by Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko.
He expressed great gratitude for assistance in
organization of All-Russian conference "Biosphere reserves of Russia in
XXI century, Contribution to sustainable development and keeping of
biologic and ethnocultural variety of Russia in the context of global
changes" in the town of Khanty-Mansiysk.
Georgy Ordzhonikidze expressed sincere hope
for further fruitful cooperation of RF Commission with Ugra Government
and Commission of issues of UNESCO in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
On November 7, Khanty-Mansiysky non-public pension
fund announced officially about joining of Surgutsky municipal
non-public pension fund to it.
Surgutsky municipal NPPF has made this decision to
enlarge client base and expand opportunities of the Khanty-Mansiysky
NPPF at the Russian market of pension services.
Owing to this transaction Khanty-Mansiysky NPPF will
receive 572 million pension reserves, 2375 receivers of Surgutsky
municipal NPPF will be clients of the Khanty-Mansiysky NPPF. Thus, Fund
will consolidate its position at he market of non-public pension
provision: hold leading position among other NPPF regarding the number
of receivers of life pensions.

Working meeting of Ugra Governor Alexander
Filipenko and deputy head of the external policy board of the RF
President's Administration Tatjana Ershova on issues of organization and
preparation of the summit "Russia - Euro Union" was held today in
Moscow.
A great number of international and All-Russian
events are held in Khanty-Mansiysk, but this event will be held for the
first time. During the meeting parts discussed the requirements,
conditions and order, which are necessary for its holding. Tatjana
Ershova shared experience of summit organization in Moscow, Samara,
Sochi.
Alexander Filipenko mentioned that Ugra has all
opportunities to provide successful work for this representative Forum.

On November 13, in the frameworks of the forum "Information
world of Ugra" photo exhibition "Informal Putin" will be opened in
Khanty-Mansiysk.
Photo works of Moscow and regional reporters of
Publishing House "Moskovsky Komsomolets" will be represented at the
exposition.
Works of Kremlin pool journalist Alexander Astafjev
take central position at the exposition. He managed to make photos of
informal Vladimir Putin while traveling over the world with the head of
the state.

On November 8-9, 2007, All-Russian conference
"Tourism: business and insurance", prganized by State insurance company
"Yugoria", will be held in the town of Khanty-Mansiysk.
In the frameworks of the conference representatives
of insurance and touristic companies plan to discuss issues, concerning
realization of the law "On foundations of tourism activity", insurance
of tour operators' responsibility, insurance of people, leaving out of
permanent living place, prospects of tourism and insurance business
development in Russia. Besides, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug will be
represented at the conference as a region which is prospective for
tourism development.
Conference is held with support of Ugra Government,
Finances Ministry of the RF, Federal service of insurance control,
Federal tourism agency, Consular department of External Affairs
Department of the RF, All-Russian Union of Insurers, Russian Union of
tourism industry, Association of tour operators of Russia, Russian Banks
Association, some higher education institutions.

On November 6, scientists of Yugorsky scientific
and research institute of information technologies represented the
project "System of satellite monitoring of transport vehicles Global Track".
Representatives of executive power bodies of the
Okrug, chief board of Emergency Control Ministry of Russia over the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, specialists of transport enterprises,
oil- and gas-producing companies took part in the seminar-presentation.
It is planned to use new development in the project
"Okrug social geoinformation system" which is realized by specialists of
the institute. Objective of the project is to make free united
accessible reference geoinformation system, oriented on needs of
citizens and guests of Khanty-Mansiysk. One could find out information
about route of public transport, get reference information, watch photo
gallery of town's sights.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Agreement on cooperation between the "Wellness
hotel "Yugorskaya Dolina" and "Nota Bena" company was signed at the
Okrug exhibition "Ugra-Tour-2007".
According to the document the largest hotel of Ugra
will be connected to the Nota Bena Central Reservation System (NBCRS).
It is possible to reserve any room in the hotel via
Internet. It is on-line booking, a client can get immediate confirmation
of his staying.
"Wellness hotel "Yugorskaya Dolina" has become
the first hotel of the Autonomous Okrug which will be represented in the
Global Booking Systems.
