Last Friday meeting of the Chairman of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug Government Vyacheslav Novitsky and Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Republic Rafael Baidavletov was held in Ufa.

Parts discussed opportunities of cooperation development of two territories. Heads pay much attention to further cooperation of the subjects and consider necessary to activate cooperation of Bashkir and Ugra enterprises of oil and gas sector, to attract investors of the Autonomous Okrug to construct objects of social infrastructure of Republic, to hold National Cultures Days, interregional holidays and performances of amateur creative groups. These and many others directions of cooperation are stated in the protocol which was signed by Vyacheslav Novitsky and Rafael Baidavletov in the result of negotiations.

Next year it is planned to sign a document about partnership prolongation of two territories.

Events devoted to the 15th anniversary of state youth policy in Russia are finished in Nizhny Novgorod.

Presentation of the advanced experience of work of bodies on issues of youth of the Russian Federation members, action "Pass on the baton of generations", round tables on the basic directions of state youth policy realization, were held in the frameworks of celebration.

At the ceremonial meeting of the heads of bodies on issues of youth of the RF members, leaders of public associations, workers of youth policy sphere of different times deputy Minister of education and science granted a thanks letter to the Youth policy committee of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug for contribution to realization of state youth policy in the Russian Federation.

On November 24 the first round of Chess World Cup will started on the concert and theatrical center of Khanty-Mansiysk.

As it was mentioned in the steering committee of competitions, 128 strongest chessmen of the world will take part in the first round. According to the rules the number of players will decrease by 2 times to every new round, totally 7 rounds will be held. Pairs of competitors have been already defined. Player with the greater score points in the rating will play with the competitor with the smallest number of score points in the game.

For information, next year Biathlon World Cup 2007/2008 will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk. At present course preparation of Skiing Center where competitions will be held, has started. In particular, equipment for artificial snow production is prepared.

In case of equality of two or more players, the player with the greater number of games played during the period covered by the list shall be higher seeded. In case of equal number, the order will be decided by the drawing of lots.
