The
Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Today the first deputy Chairman of Ugra Government
on issues of social policy Natalia Zapadnova met a resulting meeting
with deputy heads of municipal entities, heads of management bodies of
towns and districts healthcare, chief doctors of medical preventive
institutions of the region.
Participants of the meeting discussed preliminary
results of the priority national project in the sphere of healthcare on
the territory of the Autonomous Okrug in 2007.
Over 4 billion rubles were allocated from the Okrug
budget to finance events of national project "Healthcare" for 2 years of
its realization. In the current year expenses for healthcare per one
inhabitant of Ugra amounted to 18613 rubles.
According the the head of Healthcare department
Vsevolod Koltsov this year a significant growth of monthly salary of
medical personnel by means of extra payments, adopted by national
project programs is observed.

Ugra schools, awarded the RF Presidents' grants
help to develop other educational institutions.
This experience of education quality developing was
supported by Autonomous Okrug power.
Now Ugra school, marked at the federal level, have
the patronage of other school, and principles of teachers' work are
formed and sometimes revised by common efforts of teachers'
groups, peculiarities of teaching, holding of out-of-school activities
and others.
Governor's grants are established in the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug to support this partnership. 10 pairs
of schools have become the receivers this year. The sum of each premium
accounts for 1 million rubles.
40%
of this sum belong to the institution which promotes developing of
educational process, other 60% are given to the school, perfecting its
skills.

Okrug assembly of indigenous small-in-number peoples of the North
elected Ugra delegates to participate in the V World congress of
Finno-Ugrian peoples which will be held in the Okrug center in June
2008.
According to the participants' decision speaker of
the Autonomous Okrug Duma Vasily Sondykov, chairman of the assembly of
indigenous small-in-number peoples of the North of the regional Duma
Eremei Aipin and deputy of the Okrug parliament Tatiana Gogoleva will
represent Khanty and Mansi peoples living in Ugra at the international
forum.
Besides, indigenous peoples of Ugra, engaged in
science and education, representatives of public organization of
Ob-Ugrian peoples, authors of different programs of aboriginals'
national culture keeping and children's ethnic tourism developing will
take part in the congress work.
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug will be represented
at the congress by 20 delegates.
Besides, during the assembly the president of the
public organization "Spasenie Ugry" was elected. Alexander Novjukhov was
elected as a president again.

Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug
Alexander Filipenko opened All-Russian swimming competitions "Oksana
Veryevka's Cup".
The head of the region stressed that competitions of
interregional level has been held in sports complex of Ugorsky State
University for the first time. He expressed the certainty that this
place will soon become the center of swimming of the Autonomous Okrug
and Russia.
25 teams - participants from towns and districts of
the Autonomous Okrug and Noyabrsk, Chelyabinsk, Miass, Zlatoust, Tyumen
as well have arrived to Khanty-Mansiysk.
