In 2008 a district polyclinic will be opened in the Khanty-Mansiysky district.

Today there are 33 populated localities in the municipal entity, many of them are far from the Okrug center. But villagers need to get regular and qualitative medical service. Polyclinic work will be financed by means of oil companies which has agreements on social and economic partnership with Ugra Government. Over 20 million rubles are planned to be spent on material and technical base.

Parents of the disabled children, received medical assistance in clinics of Israel, thanked the Government of the Autonomous Okrug.

This year in the frameworks of the program "Prevention and lowering the social character diseases rate for 2007-2011" 10 Ugra people including 8 children were sent to Israel clinics to get high-tech assistance.

30 million rubles are provided for these purposes.

Today the first deputy Chairman of Ugra Government Vyacheslav Novitsky held a meeting on the problems of gas supply in the Autonomous Okrug.

Heads of branch departments and boards of the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, representatives of gas-distributing organizations, deputy heads of municipal entities of Ugra, supervising issues of housing and communal complex, take part in the meeting.

Governor of the Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko commented the recommendation for the first deputy Chairman of the RF Government Dmitry Medvedev as a candidate of Russian President.

"Idea set in the adopted decision of Edinaya Rossia's assemble on support of the candidate Dmitry Medvedev and probable appointment to the post of Chairman of the Government Vladimir Putin, means continuation of positive changes in the country and development of the set political course. For me it is clear that we must choose this way, strengthening economic positions of Russia and its role in the international society - said Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko at the press-conference in RIA Novosti. - Growth of salary, pensions, positive tendencies in economy, regarding the budgetary return, development of non-raw material branches. All these are associated by people with the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin".

During the working visit  to Moscow the Governor of the Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko held several meetings with the journalists of top information agencies and printed issues.

"Business breakfast", held yesterday in "Rossiiskaya gazeta", is among these events. In this form journalists of the issue talk to the representatives of power, business, culture, art, sport.

Meeting of Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko who answered  the questions of the journalists of newspaper for approximately 2 hours, was held in informal environment.

Laureates of the VII All-Russian contest "Ural premium for achievements in the sphere of public relations "Beloe krylo" are selected.

The best among 150 projects, sent to the contest form 32 towns of 21 regions of Russia, were selected by jury. Awarding ceremony was held in Sverdlovsk academic theatre of music comedy.

Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Alexander Vasiljevich Filipenko was the winner in the nomination "PR-person of the year".

Yesterday in Moscow Governor of the Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko and assistant of the RF President Sergei Yastrzhembsky discussed issues of preparation and holding of the summit "Russia-European Union" which will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk at the end of 2008.

Formation of preliminary program was discussed there, basic events which are to be held in the Okrug center to support successful holding of the summit, are planned.

Alexander Filipenko said that so large and significant event will be held in the Okrug for the first time. Significant means are allocated to finish the construction of the planned objects rapidly.

Besides, at the same time World Finno-Ugrian Peoples Congress will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk. Parts discussed an opportunity to combine these large events.
