Ugra Government successively takes complex of measures to remove consequences of fall price leap and to provide people having low income with food essentials.

On October 16, decree #250-p was adopted according to which the limits of trade addition to bread, milk, flour, sugar, eggs, animal and vegetable oil, 1 sort cooked sausage, infant food, groats prices. On November 12, by decree #265-p the document was changed.

On December 10, Agreement between the Government and Commerce and Industry Chamber about decreasing and supporting of socially significant food essentials in the region, was signed.

Now the same agreements are concluded among the municipal bodies of administration and regional industry and commerce chambers.

Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko met with Sergei Solovjev, producer, national artist of Russia, president of International festival of cinematographical debuts "Spirit of fire" which is traditionally held in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra in February.

Sergei Solovjev informed the head of the region, chairman of steering committee about preparation to the sixth festival and said that organizers make maximum efforts to attract more participants, guests, famous in the world of culture and art. Besides, the president "Spirit of fire" assured the Governor that the VI festival will be cover by Russian journalists and foreign mass media as well.

The town of Ugorsk has become a winner of All-Russian contest "Best municipal entity" in the nomination "Infrastructure".

Head of the town Rais Salakhov mentioned that the victory is a merit of those who erect housing in Ugorsk. Priority national project, aimed to form available housing market and to make comfortable conditions for townspeople, is realized in the town and all regions of the country. He stressed that our aim is to construct houses in huge scopes, to remove people from unusable housing.

Contest was announced in May of the current year by Regional Development Ministry of Russia, municipal entities from 74 subjects of the RF took part in it. Festive ceremony of resulting and awarding of the winners was held in Tower Hall of Unions' Residence on December 2007.

Yesterday Autonomous Okrug Governor Alexander Filipenko met with journalists of information agencies of Eastern Europe countries.

Press tour was organized on the initiative of ITAR-TASS. Representatives of state information agencies of Poland, Czechia, Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania arrived to Ugra to get to know with one of the dynamically developing regions of Russia.

At the meeting the head of the region said that a powerful industrial complex has been formed for a short time in Ugra. Preliminary data for 2007 demonstrates growth rates of basic social and economic indices. Gross regional product is expected to increase till 1717.8 billion rubles, it is by 4.2% more than in 2006. Scopes of industrial production will increase by 2.9%, real incomes of the population will increase by 16.2%, over 360 billion rubles will be invested to the fixed capital (by 14% more in comparison with the level in the previous year).

Today in Khanty-Mansiysk the board of Culture and Art Department discussed the project of librarianship development conception in Ugra till 2015.

By January 1 of the current year library system is represented by over 760 libraries, Okrug fund comprises approximately 12 million books. According to the specialists, Ugra libraries regarding the technical equipment, pass ahead All-Russian indices: over 60% of libraries are equipped with computers, every 5th library has Internet access (every 20th in Russia).

Beloyarsky district has become a laureate of the first premium of the Second All-Russian contest "Best municipal entity".

Regional development Ministry of the Russian Federation is an organizer of the event.

The head of the Beloyarsky district Sergei Manenkov took part in the awarding ceremony which had been held before in Moscow - in Tower Hall of Unions' Residence.

Kazan, Orenburg and one of the administrative areas of Moscow are selected as laureates together with Ugra municipal entity. Totally approximately 1 ths. Russian territories took part in the contest in different nominations. According to Sergei Manenkov the award is a high estimation of group's work and confirmation of efficient administration model, formed on the territory.
