At the Day of St. Alexander Nevsky Ugra Governor granted a chalice -
liturgical vessel to consecrate wine and communion - to the Temple "In
honor of Christ's resurrection".
Father Sergy granted the Governor at the day of his spiritual protector
an icon, representing Juses Christ.

Governor Alexander Filipenko met with the Tyumen
regional Duma deputies, representing Ugra.
He informed about preliminary results of social and
economic development of the Autonomous Okrug, stressed with satisfaction
that rates of growth are kept in the productive sphere and in the sphere
of real incomes as well which will increase by 16.5-17%.

in the frameworks of Alberta Province delegation visit (Canada) which
works in Ugra as experts of "NORDEP" program realization, the guests
were reported about experience of Generations Fund of the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug concerning realization of economic and
social programs.
Representatives of Canadian delegation were
interested in represented projects, many questions concerned the Fund
potential, opportunities of its further development, in particular,
foundation of joint enterprises based on condition mutually beneficial
for the investor and the Fund.

Today at the meeting of Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug Duma
the first deputy Chairman of Ugra Government Natalia Zapadnova
represented changes in the law "On program of material and technical
base of social sphere of the Autonomous Okrug for 2006-2012".
Program provides priorities in social infrastructure
objects construction of municipal significance by means of regional fund
of co-financing to every municipal entity, it contains offers to
distribute planned funds, taking into account different juridical
peculiarities.
Total size of expenses to realize the program till
2012 will amount to 60.8 billion rubles, including over 53 billions from
the Okrug budget.

order to grant annual premium in the sphere of literature for 2007.
President of the Khanty-Mansiysky bank Dmitry
Mizgulin was awarded the title "Laureate of the Governor's premium of
the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra" for his poems collection
"Selected works".

On December 4, in the frameworks of 77th
anniversary celebration devoted to the foundation of Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, exhibition on the results of International art
plain air "ART-UGRA -2007" was opened in the branch of Moscow State
exhibition hall "Novy Manezh" - "Chekhov's House".
Exposition will be opened in Moscow till December 20
in the "Chekhov's House".

parliament.

defined by RF President, and which we are directed to. Those results

Governor Alexander Filipenko has signed an order
of the Government, defining objectives and authorities of state
protection service of cultural heritage objects of Ugra, founded in the
Autonomous Okrug.
New body is aimed to provide keeping of spiritual
riches of the region, to promote its popularization. Development of
town-planning regulations, town-planning activity control in historical
settlements, definition of historical and cultural reserves limits and
execution of conservative obligations with the users of cultural
heritage are important objectives of the service.

Size of personal grants of Ugra Governor has been
increased by 20% in the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug.
Head of the region Alexander Filipenko has signed a
corresponding order.
Now grant for primary vocational education students
amounts to 695 rubles, 1390 rubles - for students (interns) of higher
education institutions, 805 rubles for students of secondary vocational
institutions.
Candidates will receive 3480 rubles monthly, persons
working for degree of doctor - 6969 rubles.

Interregional scientific and practical conference
"Worthy labour for invalids" was held in Nizhnevartovsk.
Over 80 people - managers and specialists of people's
social protection bodies of the Autonomous Okrug, institutions of social
service, services of medical and social expertize and population
employment, public organizations of invalids took part in it.
