The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
The
golden goddess raised, accompanied by the sounds of the drum, and opened
the X International Festival of TV Programs and TV films "Golden
Tambourine".
"Our festival reminds Noah’s Ark: the best people
gathered here, who survived and give life to the future festival, future
journalists, cameramen, film directors. The goddess is just and it is
hard for her to give her gold", - said the director of the festival
Lyubov Korneeva at the opening ceremony. In her welcoming speech Lyubov
Korneeva expressed her gratitude to people of the town and of the Okrug
for their support to the Festival for ten years. The words of gratitude
were told to the jury: "The festival is wonderful as gathered the
wonderful jury - who is impartially selecting the best".
Welcoming the guests and participants of the Festival,
the Jury Chairman Anatoli Lysenko said: "This festival is jubilee and we
expect it will open new names of new laureates. This contest will
continue with this team, other team but to be a laureate of the
International festival "Golden Tambourine" will be always prestigious".
Governor
of Ugra Alexander Filipenko was awarded with the statuette of the Golden
Goddess for personal contribution to the development of television of
the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The head of the region said that "festival
supports not only famous laureates but helps to discover new stars".
That is the key goal of the festival. "I think that for ten years the
festival has won its right to be held, and I wish all the participants
and hosts creative success and let the ship "Golden Tambourine" go", -
said Alexander Filipenko.
The opening ceremony was finished with the concert
‘Holiday of the Drum" with the participation of the Ob-Ugrian Peoples’
Theatre, dancing group "Ort-Lonka", choreographic group from the Center
of Arts for Gifted Children of the North from Khanty-Mansiysk,
choreographic group "Kavkaz" from Nizhnevartovsk, Russian-Dutch ethnic
group "Datura". The hit if the holiday was a legendary maestro Rishad
Shafi who performed several compositions playing the percussion
instruments.

The press-conference with members of the Expert
Council opened the first day of the X International Festival of TV
Programs and TV films "Golden Tambourine".
The famous TV journalist, leader of training projects
of the TV school "Kun-TV - effective training " Yuli Kun, expert,
teacher of the MassMedia Institute of the Russian Humanitarian State
university Andrei Tsitovski, President of the "Golden Tambourine"
Television Development Foundation, Festival Director Lyubov Korneeva
participated in the press-conference.
The results of the expert council work were summed up.
The participants of the press-conference said that the number of contest
works has grown - this year there are 351 of them and the quality has
grown as well. The members of the expert council praised the nomination
"News program "Novosti" which is a serious indicator what is going on at
television. "I have been working at the Expert council for three years
already and can say that this year we cannot say about a single work in
this nomination that it is "a failure". It proves that all the people
who had submitted their works are professionals. They are engaged in
television and achieved a definite level of professionalism and
therefore we should change something to increase the level of works
submitted to the contest", - said Andrei Tsilkovski. In all the jury
members’ opinion, the works of regional studios are not worse that the
programs and films of central channels neither by the level of
professionalism nor technical indicators.
The judges of the Jubilee TV Festival are the
Chairman of the Directors’ Board of the TRK "Afontovo", laureate of the
National prize "TEFI" Sergei Kim, a writer, member of the Petrov Academy
of Sciences, Honored worker of culture of Russia Novomir Patrikeev, a
member of the International Academy of television and radio, laureate of
the National prize "TEFI", editor-in-chief of the TV channel "Culture"
Arcadi Bederov, a film director, author of over 100 documentaries,
laureate of numerous international and All-Russia festivals, laureate of
the "Golden Tambourine" Festival Vladimir Rotenberg, a documentary maker,
a member of the Russia’s Journalists’ Union, laureate of the National
prize "TEFI" Igor Shadkhan, a member of Russia’s Composers’ Union, a
composer and arranger, president of the club "Friends of Jazz’ Grigori
Fain. This year two foreign representatives - a journalist-reporter of
the Hungarian national channel "DUNA-TV" from Budapest and a member of
the Center of the Eurasian researches in the National Institute of
Oriental Languages and civilizations, French writer. The head of the
jury is the head of the Journalism Chair at the Higher School of
Economics, Honored Figure of Arts of the RF, a member of the Board of
the Russian Television Academy Anatoli Lysenko.

In the framework of the X International Festival
of TV Programs and TV films "Golden Tambourine" it was held the
discussion "Modern programming of the television. What is it like?"
It was held by a member of the Expert Council,
teacher of the MassMedia Institute of the Russian Humanitarian State
university Andrei Tsitovski.
While the discussion the issues of contemporary
television were discussed - what time and for whom the TV programs are
broadcast, what are the tastes of the contemporary audience, what role
does the rating of a broadcast play? Andrei Tsitovski said that in the
contemporary television there are three types of programs which make
spectators watch TV: news, entertaining programs and movies. Besides,
lately spectators have more and more interest for sports programs. The
rating of channels directly depends on these types of programs.
