The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

The delegation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous okrug participated in the jubilee events, devoted to the 10-th anniversary of the unveiling the Memorial in honor of Siberian soldiers who perished in the Great Patriotic War on the Beksi area of the Tver Oblast.

12,5 ths. Siberians from the 6-th Voluntary shooting troop, 119 and 279 shooting divisions and 19 mechanized company were buried in the grave of the Memorial.

This summer the search teams including ones from the village Fedorovski of the Surgutski District and secondary school #1 of Khanty-Mansiysk continued the search for Russian soldiers. They found 38 soldiers’ medallions, and managed to read 14 of them, found a letter of soldier sent home.

While the events the Ugra delegation including the chairs of the veterans committees: L.V. Kolevatova - V.A. Norkin’s daughter, who perished while freeing the town of Beliy, a participant of the Great Patriotic War A.A. Sokolov, Nadezhda Kumirova and Anna Economova. They participated in re-burial of soldiers, made a tour around the places of the battles, visited the exhibition, devoted to Siberian soldiers, met with local veterans of the war and labor.

The Council of veterans of the war, labor, armed force and law-enforcement bodies of the Autonomous Okrug financed the trip of search teams and participation in the festive events.

The Okrug "Foundation of Property" held in Khanty-Mansiysk the tender for sale of the right to conclude the rent contract of the land parcel for individual housing construction.

According to the information of the Land Resources Division of the State Property Department of the Autonomous Okrug, 15 land parcels were sold at the tender. 9 of them are located near SU-967, the rest 6 - near the vegetable and milk plant. The average area of land parcels is 1000 sq.m. , the starting rent price - 250 ths. rubles. The total cost of the land at the tender amounts to over 8 million rubles.

The hosts of the tender registered 54 applications from participants. The JSC "Varyeganneftespetsstroi" won in five lots, and JSC "VTK-Soyuz"(Megion) - in two lots, individuals - in 8 lots. While the auction the starting rent price of some land parcels grew by 2-3 times. The next tender is expected to be held by the Okrug "Foundation of Property" at the end of 2006.
