The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On November 22-23, 2006 the III International Investment Forum will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk. The relevant decree was signed by Governor, Chairman of the Government of Ugra Alexander Filipenko. The leaders of federal ministries, heads of the regions of Russia, leaders of the biggest companies of the country, representatives of international industrial community, financial institutes are invited to participate in the forum.

The goal of the International Investment Forum is to make a presentation of potential possibilities of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug to the investors, to understand interests and wishes of business.

The hosts suppose that the Investment forum will allow its participants to discuss ways and mechanisms of economic growth and increase of the Russian economy competitive ability in general and its separate branches, will give an opportunity to present the potential of Ugra investment potential growth for a wide range of investors and businessmen. It concerns such branches as petrochemical industry, gas processing industry, wood-working and paper and pulp industries, manufacture of construction materials, electric energy, construction, tourist business. In the forum framework it is planned to organize the workshops, devoted to housing construction, housing and communal services sector, petro-gas chemistry, power engineering, timber industry of Ugra. Besides, the round tables will be held on the topics of tourism, balneology, hotel business.
