The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
On
Friday Governor, Chairman of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko is going to participate in the
meeting in Yekaterinburg to discuss issues of the preparation of the
election to the Tyumen Oblast Duma.
Governors of the yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Neelov, Tyumen
Oblast Vladimir Yakushev are expected to participate in the meeting,
chaired by Plenipotentiary representative of the RF in the Urals Federal
District Petr Latyshev and Chair of the State Duma of the RF Federal
Assembly Boris Gryzlov.

Yesterday on November 29 the official delegation of the Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug visited the Yuzhno-Moravskaya Oblast of the Czech
Republic.
Governor, Chairman of the Ugra Government Alexander Filipenko and Head
of the Yuzhno-Moravski Krai Stanislav Uranek signed the Protocol of
Intentions between the executive authorities of two regions. The
document stipulates the creation of the joint working group on the
preparation of the full-scale agreement on interaction and cooperation
in various spheres of activity: development of tourism, cultural and
research exchange, participation of Czech experts in the development of
timber processing industry, mining, transport infrastructure and etc.
Both leaders of the regions tasked relevant bodies to speed up the
preparation of the agreement.
Then
it was organized the round table with the participation of Ugra
delegation which included besides the officials of the Okrug Government
also mayors of Surgut Alexander Sidorov and mayor of Nizhnevartovsk
Boris Khokhryakov, President of the Khanty-Mansiysk Bank Dmitri Mizgulin,
Director General of the State Insurance company “Ugoria” Vladimir Volkov,
Director General of the Khanty-Mansiysk branch of the Uralsvyazinform
Eduard Lebedev. The Czech delegation was represented by leaders of the
top tourist companies, companies of machine-building, housing
construction, oil production, automobile industry, mining.
“It
is very important that each participant of the round table should know
what has been done and what can be done to establish practical
cooperation between business structures of two regions”, - said in his
comments Alexander Filipenko. “We got acquainted with potential
opportunities of the regions, discussed basic ways of cooperation. Now
the direct participants of the cooperation process should establish
interaction.” Consul General of the Russian Federation in Brno Viktor
Sibilev added: “The Yuzhno-Moravski Krai has already established the
system of cooperation with the Nizhegorod and Leningrad Oblasts. Ugra is
the third region for the Czech region to cooperate with. I am confident
that in a year we would be able to speak about practical steps, made on
this way”.
Governor of Ugra laid the wreath at the monument of the Red Army
soldiers who freed up Yuzhno-Moravia from Fascists in April of 1945.
The working trip of the Okrug delegation to the Czech Republic was
finished with the visit to the memorial, built in honor of the Russian
soldiers who gave their lives in the famous battle with Napoleonic
troops in Austerlits.

On
December 5-8, 2006 the X Jubilee International specialized exhibition
“Safety and labor protection-2006” will be held in Moscow at the
All-Russia exhibition center.
The
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug will be represented by the Department
of Labor and Population’s Social Protection, municipalities of
Nizhnevartovsk, Nyagan, Khanty-Mansiysk, Nefteyugansk District,
enterprise “Kormako”, Samotlor oil- and gas-producing division #2,
“Alnas-Tyumenenergosetservice” and also Surgut State University and
Regional center of labor protection. They will demonstrate their
achievements in the sphere of labor protection. Ugra will represent its
commercials at the festival “Cinema – to protect Man”.
The
Department of Labor and Population’s Social Protection of the Autonomous
Okrug is possessed of great experience of the participation in such
exhibitions. The exposition od Ugra was awarded with diplomas many times
and in 2002 it was awarded with a gold medal.
