The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
On November 7 the official program of the Russian
National exhibition in the Chinese Center of International Commerce will
start in Peging. The delegation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous
Okrug, headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government Vera
Dyudina will participate in it. The delegation also consists of
representatives of the Okrug Government, Chamber of Industry and
Commerce, oil companies, business-structures of Ugra.
The exhibition hosts are the Ministry of Economic
Development and Trade of the RF, Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the
RF, Russian Academy of Sciences, administrations of the federal
districts and constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The
exhibition agenda includes the presentation of investment possibilities
of the Urals Federal District - "Invest into the Urals Federal District!".
Ugra will demonstrate its investment possibilities on the stands which
demonstrate economic and investment potential, development of the fuel
and energy complex, tourism, system of the housing and communal services
system, construction, art crafts, of Ugra. In the delegation leaders’
opinion, the stands will give an entire understanding about investment
potential of Ugra and will help to attract foreign businessmen to the
participation in the economic development of the region. The special
topic will be the mega-project "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar". It will
be represented by the plenipotentiary representative of Russia’s
President in the Urals Federal District Petr Latyshev. The exhibition
program includes round tables, businesslike contacts, bilateral
negotiations between potential Russian and Chinese partners.

On the Day of the People’s Unity the concert "In
the united Ugra family" was held at the Grand Hall of the Center of Arts
for Gifted Children of the North. It was opened by Deputy Governor -
leader of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Governor’s
Administration Viktor Krivykh.
Tens of the art children’s groups of the
national-cultural centers and public associations "Rainbow of Ugra"
presented vocal art and dancing culture. After the end of the concert
the young performers were awarded with Letters of Gratitude of the
Governor’s Administration.
The results of the first photo contest "For peace and
mutual understanding", organized by the Ugra Governor’s Administration,
were announced at the holiday.
The search team "Obelisk" from Langepas was awarded
with the Grand Prix and gift - video camera and Alena Tolstya, an author
of photos about the search team got the special prize of the Jury.
Both festivals will be a part of the annual program
of the celebration of the Day of People’s Unity in the Autonomous Okrug.
