The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today Governor Alexander Filipenko held several important business meetings in Moscow.

In the first half of the day he discussed with the Chair of the Directors Board of the “Promsvyazbank”, President of the top Russian consulting group “Borlas” Alexei Ananyin the issues of realization of the agreement on development  of information technologies in Ugra. Then there were signed the agreements on cooperation between the Autonomous Okrug and oil-producing companies “LUKoil” and “Rosneft”.

The trip of Governor to the capital will be finished with the meeting with the camera crew of the first TV channel.

At the Concert and Theatre Center “Ugra-Classic”  it was held the awarding ceremony of the talented youth in the framework of the implementation of the priority national project “Education”.

The participants of the ceremony are students, schoolchildren of general education schools and sports schools, vocational and higher educational institutions. A surprise for the participants and guests was the “starry” slab, made of gold,  which each nominee could  imprint with his/her footstep. The first was Governor, Chairman of the Ugra Government Alexander Filipenko. At the ceremony the winners of the All-Russia and Okrug contests and competitions and their teachers were awarded with the prizes of  RF President and Okrug Governor.

Over 30 schoolchildren were awarded with the national prizes in the amount of 30-60 ths. rubles, including Maxim Byrka, Semen Ruban and Irina Chernova from Khanty-Mansiysk. Teachers who trained winners got the Governor’s prizes in the amount of 40-60 ths. rubles.

13 schoolchildren and students who study the languages of the Ob-Ugrian peoples, got the grants from Governor in the amount of 14-20 ths. rubles. 20 students who made the best research papers in Natural Sciences, Technical and Humanitarian Sciences, are awarded with Governor’s grants in the amount of 50 ths. rubles each. The best schoolchildren and students of state institutions of professional education of Ugra were awarded with prizes as well.

He congratulated the participants and mentioned the importance of their victories. “ou have a unique opportunity to combine what connects people of different ages – youth, diligence, abilities, opportunities, wisdom. The best grant is that determines your goal”, - said he.

At the end of the ceremony the participants and guests were congratulated by the soloists of the project “Ugra tramplin” and dancing theatre “Ort-Lonka”.

On December 15 in the framework of the international conference “Tourism in the Northern regions. Promotion and development”, held in Khanty-Mansiysk, it was signed the Protocol on Intentions between the Tourism Committee of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and Baltic Academy of Tourism and Entrepreneurship (St.Petersburg).

Besides, several agreements with tourist firms of Russia were concluded by one of the top tourist companies of the Autonomous Okrug “Ugra Service”. The leaders of the Ugra Service Holding agreed about cooperation with the Traveling Agency “Grand-tour” (Tyumen), Hotel “Ambassador” (St.Petersburg), companies “Globus” (Tyumen), “Tobolsk-tour” (Tobolsk) in the sphere of tourist business.

The chief official document of the conference, adopted by participants as the basis at the final plenary meeting, was the resolution draft. It included the proposals and recommendations, developed by delegates at the round tables. The topics, connected with the tourist infrastructure development, attraction of investments into tourism, staff training for tourism were discussed at the conference. In the draft resolution the conference participants addressed to the Federal Agency on Tourism with the request to develop programs of experts training for higher educational institutions in the sphere of tourism. The Chair of the Okrug Tourism Committee Valeri Bespoyasko said that the existing standards of staff training  are old-fashioned and do  meet international requirements. Besides, the conference participants recommended representatives of tourist business to use more actively small aviation and river ships and to use more effectively the opportunities, provided by Internet – for promoting tourist products on the market.

Many delegates noted the high level of the organized conference and thanked the leaders of the Tourism Committee for the provided opportunity to participate in the conference. In the second half of the day they visited the recreation center “Dobrino”  and also presentation of tourist winter programs.
