The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
On
December 14-15 the international conference of the Arctic Council
countries-participants “Tourism in the Northern regions. Promotion and
development”.
Leaders of executive bodies in the sphere of tourism, employees of
tourist companies, hotels, professional educational institutions,
tourist and hotel associations, banks, and also representatives of the
Arctic Council countries-participants.
The
conference is aimed at promoting and popularization of the northern
regions of Russia, establishing closer cooperation in the sphere of
tourism among Arctic Council countries-participants, attracting
investments to the tourist sector of economy, borrowing advanced
experience of European countries in organizing and promoting the
Northern tourism.
The
event will be organized by the Federal Agency of Tourism of the RF and
Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
For
information: The Arctic Council in an intergovernmental organization
which unities 8 Artic States: Denmark, Iceland, Canada, Norway, Russia,
USA, Finland and Sweden.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra is awarded with the national
prize named after Minin and Pozharski “For worthy deeds – Grateful
Russia”.
The
decision about that was made by co-chairs of the Federal public program
“Let’s magnify Russia with our deeds” and Organizing Committee of the
Russian regions Congress at the meeting on December 12, 2006.
The
awarding ceremony will take place on December 15 at the IV Russian
Regions Congress at the “President-Hotel” in Moscow. While the Congress
the representatives of constituent entities of the Russian Federation
will discuss the topic “Economic growth and spirituality of Russia”.
