The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
On
December 11 Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko handed over the state
awards and awards of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra.
He
congratulated Ugra people on the 76-th anniversary of the region and
noted the importance of their labor for the development and prosperity
of the Okrug. “You deserved these awards by your hard work, creative
search and talent”.
The
leaders of the fuel and energy industry companies, deputies of the Okrug
Duma Pavel Zavalny, Vladimir Semenov, Chair of the Youth Policy
Committee Alla Gribtsova were awarded with the medal “For merits before
the Motherland of the II rank”. President of the Khanty-Mansiysk Bank
Dmitri Mizgulin was awarded with the title “Honored Economist of the
Russian Federation”.
Alexander Filipenko awarded a group of Ugra people with medals, badge,
letters of Governor’s gratitude for the contribution into well-being and
prosperity of the Okrug.
Lyubov
Dorokhova, Manger of the Gasprombank branch (Beloyarski), Airport of
Surgut, Charity Foundation of social initiatives support (Yugorsk),
Khanty-Mansiysk Town public organization of veterans of military forces
and law – enforcement bodies were awarded with the prize “Recognition”
according to the results of the Okrug contest of socially-significant
projects-2006.
The
winners of the contest for the best-organized town, village of the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug in 2006 were mentioned at the ceremony.
Nizhnevartovsk, Kogalym, Yugorsk were awarded with the prize – 1040 ths.
rubles each, Surgut, Langepas and Beloyarski occupied the second
position and got 62- ths. rubles each, Nefteyugansk and Khanty-Mansiysk
– 415 ths. rubles.
In
the nomination “The best-organized village” the winners are Izluchinsk,
Poikovski, Fedorovski. In the category of under 5 ths. people – Lokosovo
of the Surgut District, karkateevy of the Nefteyugansk District,
Khulimsunt of the Berezovski District.
At
the end of the ceremony the head of the region Alexander Filipenko was
awarded with the badge of the RF Independent Trade-Unions Federation,
and diploma for support of organizations, involved in the sphere of
healthy lifestyle promotion.
Governor of Ugra congratulated people of Ugra on the deserved awards and
wished health, well-being and long life.

“Today
is the 76-th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. Our
old beautiful Ugra has become one year wiser and its population –
younger. This is our common holiday for people of different generations,
people ,united with the time of grandiose reforms, development of the
Okrug in the 30-s, war period and period of the country’s restoration in
the 40-s. From the beginning of the 50-s the fate of the Autonomous
Okrug is connected with oil and gas epoch: Berezovo, Shaim, Ust-Balyk,
Samotlor. Today modern towns are constructed among taiga, swamps.
Transport highways run among them and unique bridges are constructed
over the great rivers. For our land to become like this great hard work
was needed. Enthusiasts who in spite of the severe conditions, living in
tents, constructed towns, fields, created a new Ugra”, - these words
were said by Governor of the Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko
the Gala ceremony, devoted to the region’s birthday on December 11.
On
this day the people as follows were awarded with the title “Honorary
citizen of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug” for fruitful labor and
great contribution into social and economic development of Ugra: Yuri
Ervye, prominent geologist, the first leader of the
Glavtyumengeology, Hero of Socialist Labor, Rudolph Katsen –
veteran of the construction industry of the Autonomous Okrug,
Nadezhda Kirkicha, pioneer of childbirth medicine in Ugra, Honored
Doctor of Russia.
Besides,
Governor awarded Margarita Anisimkova, a writer, member of
Russia’s Writers Union, Sergei Kholmanski, Deputy Director
General of the company “Tyumentransgas” with the badges “For merits
before the Okrug”.
The
mayors of the municipalities of the Okrug, representatives of the
Federal Assembly of the RF, deputies of the State Duma, leaders of the
biggest companies in fuel and energy industry, timber industry,
agribusiness industry came to the stage that evening. Alexander
Filipenko expressed his gratitude to them: “I would like to thank all
the people who organize our life in Ugra, who do their best for Ugra to
be prosperous and to create worthy conditions for the development”.
The
gala concert of folk groups from Ugra continued the gala party.

In
the framework of the 76-th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous
Okrug celebration at the Concert and Theatre Center “Ugra-Classic” the
express-exhibition of the best creative and art projects-2006 “Cultural
diversity of Ugra” was opened.
The
leading museums of the Okrug held the presentations of their
expositions: House-museum named after Vladimir Igoshev celebrates its
5-th anniversary this year, presented a jubilee installation, devoted to
the museum history and painter’s life. The works done by young masters
of Ugra can be seen on the stand of the Khanty-Mansiysk Design and
Applied Technologies Institute.
The
Surgut Art museum brought to the capital the exposition of the III
International forum of visual humor “Karikaturum”, and the Center of
Crafts demonstrated collections of national clothes, musical instruments
and dolls.
Employees of the oldest museum of Man and Nature told about results of
the ethnographic expedition to Ugra. The collected materials are
presented at the exposition “Ethno-graphics”.
The
participants of the exhibition thanked the Okrug Government for the
support of museums, development of new projects, preservation of the
Northern indigenous peoples’ traditions. |
