Commercial & Industrial chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is a representative body of industrialists, private business and businessmen, directed to develop economy of the Autonomous Okrug and Russia in total. The Chamber as the largest association of employers, has an active and equal in rights dialogue with the authority. Every year the efficiency of the Chamber's activity is increasing. At present there are 250 enterprises and businessmen, operating in many spheres of economy, in the Okrug Commercial & Industrial chamber. In the system of Commercial & Industrial chambers there are over 600 enterprises and businessman in total, including the municipal chambers. One of the main directions of the Okrug chambers is an active propagation and service of the regional production. Exhibitions, forums, conferences holding on different actual themes promote the process. At present 4 municipal Commercial & Industrial chambers operate in the region: in Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Nyagan and Nizhnevartovsk District. All of the them are the members of the Autonomous Okrug CIC. Main directions of their activity are examination of the legal acts of the Government, the Duma of the Autonomous Okrug, administrations of municipal entities, concerning business, to assert businessmen's rights and interests. There are over 600 enterprises and businessmen in the system of Ugra CIC talking into account municipal structures. Every year this number is increasing. THerefore entrprises and organizations are formed into public societies regarding spheres. CIC of the Autonomous Okrug is a accelerator of this unity. Thus, Committees on science, innovations and venture financing, business development in the sphere of small and middle business, safety provision of business activity and business development in the sphere of safety services, transport and road construction operate at the Ugra CIC. In August, 2007, Constructors' Union of Ugra was founded in the region. CIC President o the KhMAO Alexander Kobanov was elected the chairman of board. Okrug Chamber plans to assists in creating branch associations which will promote regional economy development in the sphere of its activity. Commercial & Industrial chamber plays an important role in business development, formation of civilized market relations in Ugra. Second trilateral agreement for 2006-2008 was signed among the Autonomous Okrug Government, Employers' Association, Trade unions association of Ugra. At the VI conference of manufacturers and businessmen of Ugra which was held in October, 2007, alterations directed to improve labor conditions of employees, were made. Agreement on low limit of salary which accounted for 6300 rub. effective January, 1, 2008, was signed as well. In November 2007 the II Okrug meeting of Ugra businessmen which revealed basic problems of small and middle business development in the region, was held in Khanty-Mansiysk. Expert and consulting council on small and middle business development of the Autonomous Okrug Government was an important event. Annual contest of professional mastership which are organized by CIC and Employers' Association as follows are very popular: "Lider biznesa Ugry" and "Luchshiy tovar Ugry". Commercial & Industrial chamber is a organizer of public economic newspaper "Sotsialnoe partnerstvo Ugry" which covers all issues concerning business. Full-color edition which is published monthly, materials concerning social and economic aspects of regional life are represented. Annually business manual "Goods producers and businessmen (employers of Ugra" in which information about CIC members is represented, large base of large, middle and small enterprises of Ugra is collected. In 2008 6th edition of business manual was published. One can find news, information about Chamber structure, membership of KhMAO CIC, electronic version of newspaper "SPU" and other information on the web-site of chamber (www.tpphmao.ru). Governor's support of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko promotes successful activity of the Chamber. Equal partner relations with Ugra Government are stipulated by the Agreement on cooperation for the period of 10 years - till 2011. At present representative bodies of business society
are aimed to support business and to create favorable conditions for
business development. Therefore they are aimed to create civilized
market relations, to provide formation of favorable economic
environment, to realize Ugra area potential efficiently. At present
mutually beneficial partner relations are set at the national and
