| In 2008 913.3 thousand sq. m of dwelling-houses were implemented (104.7% to the level of
2007)
by enterprises and organizations of all kinds of property. Individual builders constructed
1309
apartment houses (1328 apartments) with the total area of 185414 sq. m by
their own means or by means of credits in
January-December 2008. Share of individual housing construction in the
total amount of housing, implemented in 2008 over the Okrug amounted to 20.3 %.
Average price of 1 square m of dwelling houses
and hostels in January - December 2008 comprised 31906
rubles over
the Okrug.
In January-December 2008 objects
of ocial
and cultural sphere were implemented by means of Autonomous Okrug budget and
regional budgets, including the most significant objects as follows:

3 schools for 1130 pupils (village of Shugur of the
Kondinsky District, Lyantor of the Surgutsky District, Kazym of the
Beloyarsky District);

6 kindergartens with 1190 places (village of Shugur
of the Kondinsky District, town of Nefteyugansk, town of
Khanty-Mansiysk, Nizhnevartovsk, Megion, settlement of Zaitseva rechka
of the Nizhnevartovsky District);

hospital for 285 in-patients (town of Pyt-Yakh);

stomatology for 120 out-patients per shift
