On the preliminary statistic information, the volume of investments to the fixed capital over complete range of enterprises amounted to 477.7 billion rubles in 2008 by all sources of financing, that makes 106.1% to the level of 2007. In 2008 internal funds of the enterprises prevailed, they comprised 71% of the total volume of investments, and 29% of borrowed funds on the results of 2008. In the structure of investments regarding the economic activity types, extraction of commercial minerals made 68.4%, processing industries - 1.3%, electric power generation and distribution - 3.8%, construction - 3.1%, transport and communication - 9.6%, others - 13.8%. In 2008 on the preliminary data 913.3 thousand square m of dwelling houses with the total square of 913.3 thousand square m or 115.1% to the level of 2007, were put into operation. Volume of works and services on the activity "Construction" in January-December 2008 comprised 177.7 billion rubles or 111.6% to the level of 2007. Organizations of all forms of property carried out building and assembly jobs in the volume of 12.1 billion rubles.
